Hey guys, sorry for not updating the blog for weeks. Thanks to the computer shop who helped me to repair my spoiled laptop for 3 week and then told me that it was beyond repair (really an unhappy and terrible experience). Eventually I had to bring it to the factory myself and they helped me to fix it within few days time.
Ok, stop annoying and back to the main topic. Sony had release two lens-style camera, the Cyber-shot DSC-QX100 and DSC-QX10 which use our smartphone (Android or iPhone) as real time viewfinder and controls. The DSC-QX100 features the Sony 1.0 type Exmor R CMOS 20.2 MP sensor and Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens while the DSC-QX10 features the Sony compact 18.2 MP Exmor R CMOS sensor with Sony G lens. The DSC-QX100 has a 3.6 x optical zoom and the DSC-QX10 has a powerful 10 x optical zoom.
Erm…. they are really innovative and creative products which can be connected to the smartphone either via the Wi-fi or NFC and it is not really necessary to attach to our smartphone in order to use them. They can be placed in any places you want and use the Sony’s PlayMemories Mobile application to control, adjust and release the shutter. I know some of our regions are not allowed to download and install the in-camera apps (like the Sony Alpha NEX-6) so please check it with the retailers before purchase it.
Both camera will be available in Singapore at all Sony Store and authorized outlets from October 2013. Let’s watch the video from Sony for more details about the new camera.
